PeekSmith App
The PeekSmith app is the official, free companion app for PeekSmith 3, Bond, MrCard, Teleport, SB Watch 2, and other Electricks devices. It collects information from multiple sources โ other apps, devices, web services โ and displays it on your Electricks device.
Originally developed by Benke Smith, the PeekSmith app is now maintained and supported by Electricks.
What the PeekSmith App Does
Device control โ Configure settings for PeekSmith 3, Bond, MrCard, Teleport, and more.
Connect to compatible apps โ Access information from third-party apps like Inject 2, WikiTest, and Cognito via Web Polling.
Display notifications โ Show phone notifications on your PeekSmith 3 (Android only).
Advanced features โ Unlock features like NFC/RFID reading, Apple Watch support, text recognition, voice recorder, and more.
Installing the PeekSmith App
The app is free for Electricks hardware owners (some add-ons may be purchased separately).
iOS โ Download from the App Store:
Android โ Download the APK file through your phoneโs browser.
An APK is an Android app package file. Since the PeekSmith app isnโt available in the Google Play Store, you download the APK file directly and install it on your Android device. Your phone will guide you through the installation process.
Getting Started
After installing the PeekSmith app:

Log in โ Open the app and log in with your Electricks account.

Check for updates โ If an in-app update is available, install it to get the latest features and fixes.

Connect your device โ Follow the connection steps below.
Connecting PeekSmith 3

Open the PeekSmith app and go to Settings.

Under PeekSmith Device, tap List devices.

Tap your PeekSmith device name to connect.

PeekSmith displays a welcome message when connected.
Connection Troubleshooting
If your PeekSmith 3 isnโt listed:

Enable Bluetooth โ Make sure Bluetooth is ON on your phone.

Grant permissions โ Allow the app to use Bluetooth and Location Services.

Enable GPS (Android only) โ Android requires GPS to be ON for Bluetooth communication.

Disconnect other devices โ Phones have connection limits (10-16 devices). If you have many devices connected (watch, earphones, etc.), disconnect some.

Donโt pair manually โ Donโt connect to PeekSmith from your phoneโs Bluetooth Settings. The app manages the connection.

Restart phone (Android) โ Android Bluetooth can have bugs. Try restarting your phone.

Using PeekSmith
After connecting, tap the green Detailsโฆ button to test your device.
Ways to Use PeekSmith
With an assistant:
Your assistant can use the PeekSmith app to send you messages. Your phone must be within Bluetooth range (10 meters / 11 yards).
Web Polling:
Retrieve data from compatible apps like Inject 2, WikiTest, and Cognito. Go to Display Web Data in the PeekSmith app, turn on Read data from URL, and select your data source. See Web Polling documentation.

Custom web URLs:
The PeekSmith app can watch any custom web URL. Select custom as the data source in Display Web Data.

Notifications (Android only):
Catch mobile phone notifications from any app. Go to Notifications in the PeekSmith app and turn on notification catching. iOS doesnโt allow notification catching for privacy reasons.
