PeekSmith App

The PeekSmith app is the official, free companion app for Quantum, PeekSmith 3, Bond, MrCard, Teleport, SB Watch 2, Atom 2, and other Electricks devices. It collects information from multiple sources โ€” other apps, devices, web services โ€” and displays it on your Electricks device.

Originally developed by Benke Smith, the PeekSmith app is now maintained and supported by Electricks.

Getting Started

After installing the PeekSmith app:

  1. Log in โ€” Open the app and log in with your Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android).

  2. Check for updates โ€” If an in-app update is available, install it to get the latest features and fixes.

  3. Connect your device โ€” Follow the connection steps below.

Connecting Quantum

  1. Open the PeekSmith app and go to Settings.

  2. Under Connect Devices, tap List devices.

  3. Tap your Quantum device name to connect.

  4. Quantum displays a connection confirmation when connected.

Connection Troubleshooting

If your Quantum isnโ€™t listed:

  • Enable Bluetooth โ€” Make sure Bluetooth is ON on your phone.

  • Grant permissions โ€” Allow the app to use Bluetooth and Location Services.

  • Enable GPS (Android only) โ€” Android requires GPS to be ON for Bluetooth communication.

  • Turn on Quantum โ€” Press the ON/AC button. The screen should display something.

  • Charge the battery โ€” Low battery is the most common connection issue.

  • Disconnect other devices โ€” Phones have connection limits (10-16 devices). If you have many devices connected (watch, earphones, etc.), disconnect some.

  • Donโ€™t pair manually โ€” Donโ€™t connect to Quantum from your phoneโ€™s Bluetooth Settings. The app manages the connection.

  • Restart phone (Android) โ€” Android Bluetooth can have bugs. Try restarting your phone.
