Using Atom 2 with SB Watch
Control your SB Watch directly from Atom 2 without needing a phone. Set time predictions instantly using the built-in Atom Time app.
What is Atom 2?
Atom 2 is a smart remote control that connects to various Electricks devices via Bluetooth. When paired with SB Watch, it becomes a standalone controller for setting time predictions.

How It Works
Atom 2 connects directly to your SB Watch via Bluetooth using the Atom Time built-in app. You can set specific times or use quick preset buttons.
Connecting Atom 2 to SB Watch

Turn on Atom 2 โ Press and hold the power button

Open Atom Time app โ Navigate to the Atom Time mini-app on Atom 2

Pair with SB Watch โ Follow the on-screen instructions to connect via Bluetooth

Watch confirms connection โ SB Watch hands will move to confirm pairing
Note: SB Watch can only connect to one device at a time. Disconnect from TimeSmith app or other devices before connecting Atom 2.
Using Atom Time
The Atom Time app on Atom 2 provides several ways to set the time on your SB Watch:
Numeric input โ Enter a specific time using the keypad
Quick presets โ Use pre-programmed time buttons for common predictions
Increment/decrement โ Adjust hours and minutes with arrow buttons
Reset โ Return hands to current time

Standalone Mode
When using Atom 2 with SB Watch, youโre operating in standalone mode โ the watch works independently without the TimeSmith app.
This is perfect for:
- Walk-around performances
- Minimalist setups
- Situations where you donโt want your phone involved

Tips
Practice the controls โ Familiarize yourself with Atom 2โs button layout before performing
Pre-set favorites โ Configure quick preset buttons for your most-used times
Keep charged โ Charge Atom 2 regularly to ensure itโs ready when you need it
Test connection โ Always test the Atom 2 โ SB Watch connection before performing
Troubleshooting
Atom 2 wonโt connect:
- Make sure SB Watch isnโt connected to TimeSmith app or another device
- Restart both Atom 2 and SB Watch
- Check that both devices are charged
Connection drops:
- Stay within Bluetooth range (about 10 meters / 33 feet)
- Replace Atom 2 battery if low
- Replace SB Watch battery if needed (CR2032, every 6 months)
Hands donโt move to correct position:
- Calibrate SB Watch in TimeSmith app
- Reconnect Atom 2 to refresh the connection
